My skincare regime- Guest post!

Hey guys!

This is the first guest post I have ever done, so I'm just going to thank Amy for suggesting it! But this means that I don't really know what to write about in a guest post... so I'm just going to talk to you about my skin care regime, as Amy's blog is partially about beauty, as well as lifestyle and fashion!

So these are the things I use every night to try and improve the look of my skin, whether that's on my face or my legs/arms. Since I have been using these, my skin is a lot softer and looks in better condition before I put my make up on. All of this stuff can be found in most drug stores (Boots/Superdrug), except the hand cream. I got that for christmas, so I'm not sure where it's from!

1. Face Wash

Admittedly, I don't use this every single day which I probably should. However, after I use it my skin feels really soft and you can see the difference immediately. I just wish it smelt a bit better - it's got that typical face wash smell.

2. Cleanser

I use this at night after my bath/shower, just before I go to bed. This is the old version which contains one vitamin, but the new one I bought to replace this one contains two vitamins. I love the simple range, because it has no chemicals etc in them.

3. Toner

I never really know what the toner does to my face, but it's always recommended to use it after using the cleanser. I apply a small amount of this to a cotton wool pad and smooth it over my face in outwards and upwards motions. It's similar to the cleanser in that the newer version contains two types of vitamins.

4. Moisturiser

As you can see from the shape of the bottle, I use this so much. I use it after cleansing and toning, and also in the morning after washing my face before putting my make up on. It works so well, and sinks into your skin so quickly so you don't have to worry. It's a brilliant product, and even if you don't cleanse/tone, I really recommend getting this and trying it. It's almost always on offer in superdrug, along with the rest of the simple range.

5. Moisturise some more!

To moisturise my body I use the Garnier Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion. I love this stuff so so so much. Like the simple moisturiser, it sinks in almost immediately and it smells absolutely beautiful - I'd happily bath in the stuff! And for the size of the bottle (400ml) it's relatively cheap. It makes my skin feel so soft, and I haven't been using it for that. I'd highly recommend this product!

6. Hand Cream

This is something else that smells absolutely divine! It's honey scented, and I could honestly eat it because it smells so nice. Similar to both the garnier moisturiser and simple moisturiser, it sinks in quickly which is always really helpful as I use my hands to do loads of things afterwards.

7. Vaseline!

Every girl needs to own a pot of this stuff, if you don't, GO AND GET ONE! They're so cheap, and they last forever and a day! I am a bit of a vaseline addict, I must admit... I have 10 tins of this stuff - all different types. There's at least one in every handbag I own. My favourite has to be the aloe vera one. Before I go to bed, I plaster this all over my lips to make sure they keep super soft.

All of these steps should help you to get better skin - it worked for me! There are cheaper alternatives than the branded products, but I haven't got round to testing them yet. I know the superdrug vaseline tins are really good! Anyways, that's the end of the post! I really hope you enjoyed reading, and thanks again to Amy for letting me write a guest post! I'll get her to write one for my blog in the near future! I would love for you to check out my blog (click here), or let me know what you thought of this post (
